After 12+ years as a top expert in the greater New Orleans area, we proudly carried our reputation and expertise to the Midwest in 2020. Our region-of-origin was thick with historical preservation below sea level, giving Midwest Concrete Protection a niche area of expertise in restoration and waterproofing.  

Since relocating we have led the charge toward sustainability and longevity in the concrete industry by focusing on restoration and repair rather than demolition and re-pouring. Our journey into concrete preservation has taught us the value of prevention over cure. 

In late 2021, the U.S. concrete industry adopted “low carbon concrete” to reduce environmental impact by substituting Portland cement with materials like limestone dust. However, it is widely observed, this new concrete often has a shorter lifespan, evidenced by the increased repair work, nationwide, on concrete poured post-January 2022. This new concrete has forced us to find and test the best solutions at a price attainable for every situation. 

Our Mission: enhancing concrete health from the outset. Ideally, this involves integrating protective chemistry into the mix truck before pouring. When that’s not possible, we treat the concrete within the first few days of placement. Our method focuses on internal treatment, not just surface-level solutions, aiming for:  

• Longevity: Increasing the lifespan of concrete and its steel reinforcements 

• Performance: Enhancing durability and reducing maintenance needs.  

• Sustainability: Minimizing carbon footprint by reducing the frequency of repairs and replacements.
